Its value hook is aggressive VPS and cloud VDS pricing: mid-range plans with 4-12 vCPUs, 8-48 GB RAM, NVMe SSD, and multi-TB bandwidth for prices that undercut AWS, DO, and Linode by a wide margin. The catalog also includes cloud VDS (dedicated vCPU), bare-metal dedicated servers, S3-compatible Object Storage, managed MariaDB and PostgreSQL, web space, and domain registration. For many review sites Contabo shows up as the price-per-GB-RAM king in VPS category tests, which is what keeps it on affiliate review lists.

Contabo's customer base is broad: developers wanting a cheap dev box with a lot of RAM, gamers hosting community servers, SMBs and media sites running self-hosted apps (Nextcloud, GitLab, Plex, Minecraft), agencies running WordPress multisite, and budget-conscious SaaS teams.
