Because Fathom does not set cookies, does not track individuals, and stores no personal data, sites can drop cookie banners for analytics and remain compliant with GDPR, CCPA, ePrivacy, and PECR. Pricing starts at USD 15 per month for 100,000 monthly pageviews, and the plan includes unlimited sites, unlimited team members, uptime monitoring, email reports, and a public dashboard option.

The typical buyer is an indie developer, freelancer, SaaS founder, agency, or privacy-conscious content site that wants simple, glanceable numbers without the complexity of GA4 or the weight of a full product-analytics stack. Agencies can host up to 50 client dashboards on a single account, which makes Fathom a common pick for WordPress and Webflow studios managing client traffic. Fathom also retains data forever, so customers keep full history across every year they pay, which is a frequent contrast point against GA4's retention caps. Fathom runs its affiliate program directly at usefathom.com/affiliates rather than through a third-party network. Publishers sign up by creating or logging into a Fathom account, then generating a referral link from the Affiliates tab inside account settings; approval is effectively automatic for existing customers. The referral link carries a 30-day cookie, and it also gives the referred visitor a USD 10 discount on their first invoice, which doubles as a promo hook for publisher content.

The program pays a 25% recurring commission on every paid month the referred customer stays on Fathom, with no cap on duration.
