FluentU

FluentU is a language-learning product built around real video rather than textbook dialogues. Independent learners, polyglots, homeschool families, and language teachers use it to study Spanish, French, Chinese, German, Japanese, English, Italian, Korean, Portuguese, and Russian through clips that include interactive captions, definitions, examples, and review prompts. It is especially useful for people who already like learning from shows, YouTube clips, music, interviews, or cultural videos but need structure around the words they hear.

The product turns a viewing session into a study loop. A learner can pause a clip, click a word, see examples in context, save vocabulary, and come back to quizzes that reinforce those words through sentences rather than isolated flashcards. Teachers and tutors can point students toward level-appropriate authentic material, while self-directed learners can use the Chrome extension and mobile apps to keep practice close to media they already watch. FluentU asks affiliates with multiple websites to apply each site separately, and notes that matching the account email to the listed website can speed review.

The public terms list a 20% commission for the lifetime of a referred user and a 30-day return-days window. Refersion tracks clicks, sales, and commission activity, while FluentU handles PayPal mass payments around the 14th of the month after the tracked sale month. The official page does not name a minimum payout. Refunds, chargebacks, fraud reversals, and self-purchases are excluded from commission credit.
