Its dashboard is a major part of the product fit: agencies can add collaborators, transfer billing to a client, restore a site after a risky edit, and manage many client installs without leaning on cPanel.

That agency angle makes Flywheel different from a host aimed only at hobby sites or infrastructure buyers. A solo designer can create a demo site before a client approves the project, then move the bill once the site is ready. A WordPress maintenance shop can keep dozens of client sites organized, restore a backup after a plugin issue, and use Local for development work that eventually lands on hosted sites.
