TeePublic affiliates create or sign into a TeePublic account, set up a storefront, and use the on-site affiliate tracking link that appears while they browse. The link updates to the current TeePublic page, so an affiliate can share a store, a single product, or a marketplace page with the same personal referral ID. TeePublic's own examples focus on social posts, videos, podcasts, artist stores, and community merch promotion.

TeePublic's affiliate article lists an 11% commission on sales sent through the personal affiliate link, including designs outside the affiliate's own store. A separate TeePublic affiliate-system post lists a 30-day cookie and says tracking is handled inside TeePublic rather than a third-party network. TeePublic's earnings guide says referral earnings are handled through PayPal only and notes that sticker sales are excluded.
